From the day of Gandhi's assassination till this very moment, people are unable to talk about Shri Nathuram Godse in the open, without fearing from being heard and criticized. The Congress suppressed the release of his public statement to the people and everything he said got lost in those years, and soon forgotten. Anything against Gandhi's view was a crime, whether Gandhi was correct or wrong, whether the masses following him were benefiting or being crushed. The masses should have decided what was right or wrong. With the academic syllabus being framed by the Congress and the suppression of the statement, we were taught baked-facts with a total biased mind by those who refused to see through the political move, where Gandhi was used as a tool. I would appreciate if you would read what Shri Nathuram Godse had to say, and from his tone and use of words decide whether he was a mere Hindu fanatic or a literate turned assassin who possessed the ability to reason with grace. It all boils down to the cost at which everyone desires peace. What do you think?
